Stretch and Fetch Liability &Release Waiver

This liability and release waiver is between the company (Stretch and Fetch, Us, or We, Our) and the signatory (You, your, attendees), it is effective as of the date of your signature. In consideration, the parties agree to the following terms and conditions:

The session includes a one-hour puppy yoga session with a professional yoga instructor onsite.

Rules of the Studio:

• No chewing food or gum once the session has started.
• Do not give or feed the puppies any food, candy, chocolate, drinks, or any other items that can cause them harm.
• Avoid roughhousing, wrestling, racing/running, jumping, shoving, tackling etc. In the facility or during the session
• Do not pick up the puppies in any aggressive manner, this includes, by the tail, neck, head, ears, etc. If you are unsure how to correctly pick up a puppy, ask an event coordinator.
• You shall not chase or scare the puppies.

Failure to comply with the above rules can and will result in termination of your session, and you will be asked to leave the facility, with no refund being provided.

Lost or Stolen Items: We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items; you are to be fully responsible for your personal belongings, including car keys, wallets, phones, etc. If you do lose any personal belongings, you understand that Stretch and Fetch is not responsible for helping replace the lost, stolen, or misplaced item.

Assumption of Risk: Stretch and Fetch is not responsible for any injuries that you may have or may result in due to the session, you understand you are engaging in the session at your own risk. We are not responsible for any allergies or illnesses that may occur as a result of contact with the puppies during, after, or before the sessions. If any injury does arise, we are not responsible for providing costs, or medical fees that may arise from that injury, including ambulance fees. 

Photography and Videos: During the sessions, we may take photos, or videos of the attendees, and post it to our social media pages. If you do not wish to have your photo or video taken, let us know prior to the start of your session.

Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by the law, you, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby release, waive, and discharge any employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages or cause of action arising from the session either caused by negligence or otherwise.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stretch and Fetch from any claims of damages, losses, or expenses (including lawyer fees) arising from your participation in this session, including those caused by your own negligence.

Acknowledgement and Understanding:

You certify and agree that:

1. You are at least 16 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
2. Have read and fully understand this agreement.
3. Voluntarily agree to its terms without duress or coercion.

Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the Alberta Government.
